October Afternoon Love

The manu of the month over at ScrapGal.com is October Afternoon, so using papers by them and sketches at Creative Scrappers and Sketabilities I made these layouts:

I love this lo of my son Aidan and our dog H. It is based on the sketch at http://creativescrappers.blogspot.com/

This lo is of my niece at the county fair. I used the sketch at http://sketchabilities.blogspot.com/2010/09/designer-reveal-and-sketch-30.html

I was inspired by my (gassy) son to do this lo

I also used a sketch from at this months pagemaps.com to make this lo.

It has taken me months to find Dr. Seuss stuff for a page of Aidan in his Dr. Seuss hat. Here is the lo

SEI Love

When I began scrapbooking, about 7 years ago, SEI was the first company I fell in love with. They are also the first kit club I ever joined I loved everything about them. The papers were perfect weight, lots of embellies, price was awesome not to mention the excellent designs. They have had a design team call the past two weeks and I got my entry in just under the wire. It would be so awesome to have free product and know about new designs before anyone else!! I won't hold my breathe though, but a girl can dream. :)
Here are some lo's I did with SEI papers. I am inspired by them again and know just what pic and papers I am going to use on my next lo!

Do you have mad SEI love? Tell me some of your fav lines and link me up to your SEI lo's!

Drowning in paper

I had such big plans for my Labor Day weekend. I was gonna scrap everyday and spend most of Monday scrapping. Well, at first things went according to plan, then Monday at about 10 am I went outside to check on our boxer, H. As I was backing away from him I fell in a hole he had dug. I twisted my ankle, took about 6 layers of skin off my palm and suffered some other scrapes and bruises. Needless to say I didn't get any scraping done after that. Yesterday I was finally able to hold my scissors without my hand hurting super bad.

Here are the lo's I completed. I have been trying to scrap our zoo trip in April.
To get a jump start on these I used sketches.

For this lo I used a sketh at sketchabilities, find it here: http://sketchabilities.blogspot.com/2010/08/august-30-design-team-reveal-23.html

I used the current sketch at Ally Scraps for this one. Find it here: http://allyscrapsblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/september-sketch-contest.html

For this one I used the current sketch at Scrapbook Sussies. Check it out here: http://scrapbooksussies.blogspot.com/2010/08/august-sketch-challenge.html

I have paper everywhere right now. I am almost over doing Zoo themed pages. I might have one more left in me. Stay tuned!!
